Our staff strength of almost fifty allows us to work cohesively as a close-knit one-team unit. Efficient and nimble, we respond promptly to our clients' requests and questions without the typical red tape and bureaucracy found in larger organisations. We intend to keep our work force compact because being personable and reachable is an important benefit many clients appreciate and find highly useful.

Mr. Young was the Managing Partner of Korn/Ferry International's Singapore office and Head of the East Asia region until the middle of June 1999. He was also part of the parent firm's central decision-making Executive Committee and a member of their Main Board of Directors that steered the company towards their public listing on the New York Stock Exchange in February 1999.

Mr. Young joined Korn/Ferry in 1982 and is the first Singaporean to become a Partner of the firm. He has performed more than 600 searches for clients in many different industries and is particularly known for his work in the financial services sector. He also pioneered their Asian Family Groups Practice. Altogether, he was with the firm for 17 years.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Young was one of four senior officers who ran a Singapore government-owned, capital-intensive defence production organisation known as Ordnance Development and Engineering Company. He had, at different points in time, assumed responsibility for its financial operations, human resources, security and marketing. From 1971 to 1976, Mr. Young was with a sister organisation known as Chartered Industries of Singapore. He was initially one of several cost accountants and subsequently became the head of its internal audit division. Mr. Young served in total 12 years with these two defence-related manufacturing companies before he was recruited into Korn/Ferry.

Mr. Young holds an Honours Degree in Accountancy from the University of Singapore and a Diploma in Personnel Management from the Singapore Institute of Personnel Management. He attended University of Chicago's business program in Singapore in 1981 and also Stanford University's 3-month residential Advanced Management Program in 1995.

Mr. Young joined Pan Group in July 1999. He is now devoting his efforts to build a leadership position for the firm, as well as to expand the corporate clients base.
